Sisyphus

Toiling up and down, working through
The work is a job in and of itself while
Our brethren, near us but not with us,
Shuffle past in various muffled style.

Let us go now, you and I,
we’ll go get lost under big skies
and raise our hands to praise the new day
and genuflect amongst the fireflies.
